Safety and Security management is central to the successful co-ordination and implementation of humanitarian and international development programmes. It is therefore vital that staff with security risk management responsibilities hold the necessary tools to perform their role fully and to the best of their ability through high quality, up-to-date Security Risk Management training.
Online Security Risk Management Training introduces staff members of national and international organisations to the most recent and relevant safety and security best practices, methods, and tools. It is offered in English and French.
A web-based, instructor-led, training this course is delivered over an 8-week period, combining individual assignments, group work, discussion forums, and live interaction with ILS facilitators. It is designed and developed for persons with current or upcoming Security Risk Management responsibilities, including Security Focal Points working in field offices.
All participants who complete the course will receive a digital HPass badge
